DIRECTIONS
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup plain flour
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup desiccated coconut
- 125g butter, chopped
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened Almond Breeze almond milk
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate soda
METHOD
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees Celsius and line baking trays with greaseproof paper
- Combine oats, flour, sugar and coconut in a bowl
- Mix the butter, Almond Breeze and honey in a saucepan over medium heat and stir until the mixture is melted – then add the bicarbonate soda
- Stir the butter mixture into the oat mixture
- Roll the dough into balls and place on baking trays, flatten slightly with a fork
- Bake for 10-15 minutes or until lightly golden
- Allow to cool before serving
Serves Makes 12 biscuits
